A Unified Strategy for Web and Festival Portal Enhancement.
THE BACKGROUND
Essence, a leading magazine for African-American women, had recently gone independent. They needed to migrate their main website, which had over 70,000 pages, and revamp their festival website to improve user experience and ease of maintenance.

Scripts were developed to capture and transplant content into the new CMS for both the main and festival websites.

All URLs and structured data like headlines and image alt tags were preserved to maintain SEO value.
IMPROVING THE UX/UI
CXR.Agency recreated existing design elements and identified areas for improvement. New designs were implemented to ensure clearer conversion paths.
RESULTS
